The Scarecrows Are Coming!!!!!!
The Downtown Seneca Merchant Association presents Seneca Scarecrow Fest 2012.
THE SENECA SCARECROW FEST is the first ever Scarecrow Decorating Contest. It will be throughout the month of October. Ballot boxes will be located in the foyer at City Hall on North First Street , Porta Portese at 112 Ram Cat Alley and Ye Olde Sandwich Shoppe 124 North Townville Street. Any business, school, church, service group or individual can enter and show off their scarecrow creating skills. There is a $20 registration fee and all registration forms must be sent to the Downtown Seneca Merchant Association at 112 Ram Cat Alley, Seneca, 29678 by October 23, 2012. Pick up a registration form at Porta Portese, 112 Ram Cat Alley, Seneca.
The Seneca Scarecrow Fest is a great way to showcase your business or organization, what you do, or what’s important to you. Plus, we will be providing free advertising of the scarecrows all over the area. Everyone in the community is invited to visit the Scarecrows all over town during the month of October and vote for their favorite. Cash prizes will be awarded in each category at the City of Seneca’s big event…..Halloween on the Green!!THE SENECA SCARECROW FEST will take place in the afternoon of October 31st. The fun begins at 5:00pm in the heart of downtown Seneca. Look for Music, food, games, a candy stroll, vendors and special events for all ages. We will announce the winners of the Seneca Scarecrow Fest Contest at 7:00pm and award the cash prizes.
Come in costume or come as you are but just come join us for a good old fashion hometown celebration!!! We hope to see you there!!!
